Melody has been a certified child life specialist since 2010 after graduating from the University of Georgia and completing her internship at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Throughout her career, Melody has worked in the ED, PICU, acute care, radiology and community settings. She is currently a full-time mom and part-time nanny – truly relying on that child development background to get through each day! As the past president, I am excited to work alongside our Student Member at Large and create new and engaging outreach and educational opportunities for our members and students!
